BUDOKAN Martial Arts

Muay Thai Training was intense tonight!!!

Coach ran a tuff circuit with lots of bagwork, combinations and calisthenics. Sparring followed as usual with plenty of impact and good hard training. Much was learned and plenty was gained.

Tonite was a night for warriors. The class was packed with fierce men and women who entered strong yet doubtful but exited with a stronger understanding, not only as a person but also as a Budokan family member. The bond created that night was special. We could all hear the pain and cries of our fellow siblings in the dojo..but we also heard the strength and support shouted through the actions of those same brothers and sisters. Each cry and sweat drop reminded us that tonite our spirit is one and together we could enjoy ourselves. Atlhough a few individuals came in expecting circuit training and sparring to be both a blessing and a curse, I would say the blessing was THAT MOMENT and the curse would have been Missing it.

P.s. What is your definition of Sparring? and What does it mean to you?
